Khloé Kardashian is reportedly finding it hard to deal with the news of sister Kourtney’s pregnancy.
Kourtney recently announced that she and partner Scott Disick are expecting their third child, just weeks after sister Kim tied the knot with Kanye West in a lavish Italian ceremony.
While friends say Khloé is over the moon for her older sisters, she’s also reportedly finding the situation difficult in the wake of her marriage breakdown from Lamar Odom last year.
“Khloé’s been praised for being an amazing aunt – a role she embraces as she dotes on her nieces and nephew. But it’s only natural that it’ll be hard for her to watch her sister carry another baby while her story has been so different. It’s a tough time for her right now,” a source revealed to British magazine Now.
The difference in lifestyles has now seen Khloé form a tighter bond with her youngest sisters, 18-year-old Kendall Jenner and 16-year-old Kylie.
“The strain is showing in her relationship with her elder sisters. She used to be closest to Kourtney – but in recent months she’s grown closer to younger siblings Kendall and Kylie Jenner. She feels at this stage in her life she can relate more to them, so she’s hanging out with them rather than ‘wifeys’ Kim and Kourtney,” the insider added.
Since her split from Lamar, who was accused of being unfaithful as well as battling a drug addiction, 29-year-old Khloé has been linked to rapper French Montana.
The pair posted a photo recently that saw French posing with a gun as Khloé swigged from a bottle of champagne, something that apparently hasn’t gone down with her family.
“The family are quietly worried about Khloé. She loves the idea of playing Bonnie and Clyde with French and is behaving more like her younger sisters, like a teenager in love,” the source said.
