Kendall Jenner was reportedly “overwhelmed” while dating Harry Styles.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is thought to have started dating the One Direction lothario last year, although neither confirmed their romance. They were seen enjoying a skiing holiday though, but have since called time on their fledgling relationship.
While work schedules are thought to have been partly to blame, Kendall was reportedly also astounded by the amount of interest the romance received.
“Harry and Kendall’s romance has been slowly fizzling out since he left LA – in fact they didn’t see each other for about a week before he left,” a source told British magazine Heat. “Kendall was overwhelmed by the attention they got – and that she got from One Direction fans.”
It was thought that the two stars would reunite when Kendall was in the UK for London Fashion Week earlier this month. However, talk of the pair celebrating Harry’s 20th birthday together proved to be wide of the mark.
“When Kendall came to London, Harry purposefully took a step back as he wanted it to be her time and didn’t want to distract from it. He’s also admitted that he got a bit bored with the whole thing,” the insider claimed.
It’s thought part of the problem was Harry’s intense work schedule. He has a great deal on thanks to the amount of shows One Direction have planned and apparently has to focus on his career.
“It’s nearly impossible for him to maintain a relationship at the moment. The next couple of months will be busy with tour rehearsals and work on a new album in the UK, then One Direction are off on another world tour. He’s still in touch with Kendall, though,” the source explained.
Although they aren’t together, it’s been claimed Kendall and Harry could be seeing more of each other before long. He is said to be considering buying a home in Los Angeles, where the up-and-coming model lives, because he likes that he can go incognito there.
“He loves California and despite being massive in the US he randomly gets hassled less when he’s in LA,” a source told British newspaper The Daily Star.
