Kelly Clarkson is ready to have children as soon as she marries.
The 31-year-old singer announced her engagement to Brandon Blackstone, the son of Kelly’s manager Narvel, last December.
She revealed earlier today that there will be no hanging about once the pair gets hitched, and children are on the cards.
“I want babies, like, right off the bat. Well, I’m totally gonna have a girl. My first child will be a girl—I know it in my soul,” she predicted to Garrett Vogel on the Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.
Kelly has revealed in the past that when she met Brandon she knew it was love at first sight.
During the interview she coyly confessed to Garrett that she already had names picked out for her children to be, but wouldn’t reveal any more details.
“I can’t tell you. No, I’m not giving my secrets away. People will steal my name. What if I don’t have kids right now, they’ll steal my names!” she laughed.
Kelly, who won the first series of American Idol in 2002, is also no stranger to acting.
She recently spoofed herself on comedy show The Crazy Ones, where she played an altered version of reality.
“I agreed to do the show because they said I’m going to play myself, and I was like ‘Ok who turns down doing a scene with Robin Williams, that’s awesome.’ He’s one of my favourite actors since I was a kid.
“I said yes, and then I get this script and it’s a super slutty mean version of myself! But honestly it worked way better. I was a little nervous because my fiancé was there that day and I was grinding all over one of the actors for the scene,” she joked.
