Kaley Cuoco: Haircut made me look like Bieber

Kaley Cuoco was worried she looked like Justin Bieber when she initially cut her hair.

The Big Bang Theory actress ditched her long blonde locks for a stylish crop earlier this year and now couldn’t be happier with the outcome. She did have moments of panic though – most notably when she feared her sweeping fringe was too reminiscent of the Baby crooner in his younger years.

“I was swishing my hair to the left so much, I was like, ‘Do I look like Justin Bieber?!’ [But] I feel liberated. It’s like I needed to find myself again,” she told Women’s Health magazine.

Kaley got married to tennis star Ryan Sweeting on New Year’s Eve last year, following a whirlwind three-month romance. While the actress knows many thought she rushed into things, Kaley insists things couldn’t be any better between her and her husband.

“The best part [of marriage] is that you always have your buddy with you. He is always there; my friend is always with me. I have someone to eat with, to talk to, to have a drink with, to cry with, to be anything I need to be; he is always going to be there and the same for him,” she gushed.

The couple have already had to battle pregnancy rumors, with Kaley admitting neither of them can wait to be parents. She feels she is “meant” to be a mother at some point, but stopped short of revealing when that will be.

Kaley did open up about changing her name though, explaining she will be called Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting from now on.

“I am lucky because it happens to be a great last name. I love being married, we are so happy,” she gushed. “It was the greatest day of my life, it happened fast but it was perfect for us and we could not be happier. I say the word husband all the time when it is unnecessary… I love it; I feel totally at home – we are so happy.”

Kaley is best known for playing Penny on TV show The Big Bang Theory, which is going into its eighth season. Many have warned the star that she needs to be wary of being typecast if she doesn’t branch out soon. Although she is doing just that with a role as a drug addict in a small upcoming film, the actress doesn’t worry about her career too much.

“If I really was typecast as Penny or the girl next door it would be the greatest thing in the world; then I have a job forever playing that,” she enthused. “That is kind of how I look at it: if this is what I do forever fine, but I’ll try and do as many things as possible and experience the whole world of acting, as silly as that sounds, but I love all aspects of it. But comedy is definitely number one.”
