Josh Brolin has reportedly entered rehab.
The 45-year-old actor is believed to have recently checked into a facility in Northern California. Josh is thought to be receiving professional treatment for substance abuse.
“He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety,” a source told Us Weekly.
This latest news comes after Josh was seemingly caught on camera getting into a fistfight with another man near an Irish pub in Santa Monica, California, on November 2. At the time, TMZ reported that the altercation took place close to the front entrance of the drinking establishment at around 2am. The men appeared to soon settle their differences, and ended up hugging after the disagreement.
When Josh was later quizzed about the event by the website, he vowed to clean up his act.
“Absolutely, it won’t be happening again,” he said, before being asked if he planned to cut out alcohol. “That’s it. Completely done.”
During that same weekend earlier this month, Josh reportedly got into an argument with a cab driver at a drive-thru in Los Angeles.
Josh has had a tough time so far this year. He was arrested for misdemeanor public intoxication on New Year’s Day in Santa Monica.
In February, he and Diane Lane announced they were separating after eight years of marriage. However, their divorce has not yet been finalized.
