Jonah Hill will be hosting Saturday Night Live later this month.
The actor has been the live sketch show’s special guest twice before, so January 25 will be his third time doing it.
Jonah will be joined by musical guest Bastille and he can’t wait for the special day to arrive.
“Very excited to be hosting Saturday Night Live for the third time January 25th!” Jonah announced on Twitter to his nearly four million followers Monday.
The 30-year-old’s new film The Wolf Of Wall Street is currently on general release in theaters. According to Jonah, he doesn’t condone the behavior of the characters in the movie, but believes it’s an accurate portrayal of real events.
“I don’t agree with anything [the characters] did in the film,” he said at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
The Wolf Of Wall Street tells the story of Wall Street broker Jordan Belfort, played by Leonardo DiCaprio. Leonardo’s character is shown using illegal trading practices and partaking in recreational drug use.
“The point of the movie is that criminally these people didn’t get punished for what they were doing,” Jonah added. “That doesn’t mean that this kind of bad behavior and excess and treating people poorly didn’t lead to a bad ending for them.”
Aside from revealing the new hosts for January, Saturday Night Live announced Sasheer Zamata will be the newest member of their cast. This makes her the first black female cast member since Maya Rudolph left in 2007.
