JLaw’s ‘not very Hollywood’

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence is “family-orientated” and not “a Hollywood type”, says her boyfriend’s sister.

The 23-year-old actress met Nicholas Hoult while they were shooting 2011’s X-Men: First Class and after a split last year they are now back together.

She has spent a great deal of time with his family and his sister Clarista is impressed with how down-to-earth the Oscar-winner is.

“Jen is lovely. She’s really easy to talk to,” she told British magazine Heat.

“She’s really family-orientated so she fitted in well with us. She doesn’t seem like a Hollywood type, she just mucked in.

“We’re a very unglam family. In our house, if you want a drink, you get it yourself.”

Jennifer spent some of the festive period with Nicholas and his loved ones. Rather than chatting about her upcoming movies or the likelihood she’ll take home her second Academy Award for her role in American Hustle at this year’s Academy Awards, the star preferred to be low-key. She enjoyed lunch at a local pub and settled down with the Hoult family to watch Christmas TV.

Earlier this month it was claimed Jennifer and Nicholas were planning to invest in some UK property. It was suggested they had set their hearts on a property in the country, which they viewed over Christmas.

However, Clarista insists the pair are a long way from investing in a home together.

“It’s Nick’s house, they’re not buying it together,” she said of a home the actor has bought in London. “It’s his first house, he’s very excited. He’s getting furniture from IKEA.

“They’re just a normal couple – they get on really well. They see each other as much as possible and they Skype and Facetime. She’s just really chilled and normal.”

Jennifer and Nicholas appear to be firmly back on track following their split last year. He was on hand to support her at this year’s Golden Globes, where she picked up the best supporting actress prize for American Hustle.

There has even been speculation the pair might elope, with claims they could already be engaged.
