JLaw slams paps

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence thinks paparazzi “suck”.

The American actress rose to fame after landing the role of Raven/Mystique in 2011 film X-Men: First Class.

Since becoming a well-known star Jennifer has noticed an increase in attention surrounding her, which she finds frustrating.

“I mean, paparazzi suck all the time. When you’re working, it’s distracting and when you’re not working, it’s annoying,” she complained to Teen Vogue. “I don’t feel like anyone is entitled to know what we’re doing on our weekends and for some reason, the world thinks they are. That’s just how I feel.”

For her upcoming film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Jennifer and her co-stars were lucky enough to film in Hawaii. The 23-year-old actress loved staying on the island and found it a welcome break from the normal hustle and bustle of everyday life.

“Oh, it was like a different movie. Try being stressed in Hawaii, I dare you,” she smiled. “We went swimming in between takes. We would go paddle boarding at lunch. It was amazing. But the scenes got a lot more intense. Things get terrifying.”

Jennifer was joined in the interview by her Hunger Games co-star Sam Claflin. She was happy to pass on valuable advice to the British star ahead of their busy schedule.

“I told him that everything’s going to change really fast,” she recalled. “I haven’t really stopped working, which has been exhausting, but also a blessing because I don’t have time to think about it.”

Sam agreed with Jennifer and is aware that the next 12 months will be hectic.

“I’ve had a very busy year thus far and when this film comes out, we’ll be in the middle of shooting the next one! It’s going to be another busy year,” he commented.
