Jennifer Lawrence is scared of making “mistakes”.
The 23-year-old actress is Hollywood’s current sweetheart and is nominated for an Oscar this year thanks to her role in American Hustle.
It seems like The Hunger Games star can do no wrong, but Jennifer is still fearful of what others think and therefore doesn’t like to be spontaneous.
“It’s very easy to intimidate me and I’m never brave enough to approach people,” she admitted to German magazine TV Movie.
“I always worry about the consequences and I’m scared of making mistakes.”
Jennifer has remained humble despite taking home an Academy Award last year and admits that Hollywood likes to “exaggerate”.
She’s still coming to terms with the attention she attracts everywhere she goes.
“It’s awkward when I go to the bathroom in a restaurant and two or three girls follow me, wanting a picture,” she confessed.
It’s been a busy time for Jennifer, who has been promoting American Hustle, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and has also been working on the latest X-Men installment.
This year she plans to take a step back.
“I worked a lot last year and was constantly tired,” she said.
“I’m hoping for more peace and quiet and less attention.”
Jennifer even feels uneasy in her own apartment, as she claims anyone can come up and ring her doorbell.
She prefers staying with friends or in a hotel and she can’t yet imagine investing in a house.
“I have the money, but not the maturity,” she reasoned.
“I’m in my early 20s, my style changes every five minutes.”
