Jennifer Aniston reportedly thinks her on-screen chemistry with Channing Tatum would be “off the charts”.
The 45-year-old actress is said to be a huge fan of the muscly star, who played a stripper in 2012’s Magic Mike.
Jennifer is apparently gearing up for a comedy project which will need a male lead and thinks Channing could be the perfect choice.
“Jen thinks Channing would be a sure thing in terms of box office success in a romantic comedy. He’s both funny and sexy and she thinks their screen chemistry would be off the charts,” an insider told RadarOnline.
She has reportedly watched many of the star’s films and has been impressed with his acting chops. Channing has shown off his dance moves in Step Up, appeared in romantic film The Vow and action flicks such as White House Down. His range has impressed Jennifer, whose pals apparently agree he could be the perfect co-star.
“Jen loved him in Magic Mike and 21 Jump Street and even had a Channing screening night with her girlfriends in February, when they watched several of his films. The Channing marathon was a huge success,” the insider giggled.
Magic Mike was loosely based on Channing’s time as a stripper before he made it in Hollywood. It is reportedly Jennifer’s favorite film of his, especially as she showed off her own sexy dance moves in 2013’s We’re the Millers.
It seems Jennifer has a lot of big career plans at the moment. At the end of last year it was reported she was hoping to team up with Sandra Bullock and Cameron Diaz on a major new comedy.
“[They want] the mother of all chick comedies,” an insider said at the time.
“It’s amazing that this is even being considered by this group – and shows that they’re putting aside old rivalries to find ways of staying relevant in recession-racked Hollywood.”
