Jamie-Lynn Sigler has given birth to a baby boy.
The former Sopranos star and her baseball player fiancé Cutter Dykstra welcomed their first child into the world last night.
A representative for the couple confirmed the news to Us Weekly magazine today.
“Both mommy and baby are great!” the representative said.
Jamie-Lynn and Cutter announced their engagement via Twitter in January after a year of dating.
The duo revealed their baby news a month later in early February.
“Jamie couldn’t be happier,” a source told the publication shortly after they became engaged. “Cutter is the perfect guy for her. Although they have only been together for a year, they both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine, as are their families and friends.”
The 32-year-old actress had a rough time during the early stages of her pregnancy. In April she admitted she was finding it tough.
“The first few months were not fun. I got hit pretty hard, but I feel fantastic now,” she explained. “It’s the most natural thing your body can do. I have no part in anything that’s happening with the baby. I’m just kind of a vessel, so it really is a miracle and it really is an exciting time.”
In June the star held a baby shower where she revealed she was expecting a boy. She added that the couple were having trouble deciding on their son’s name.
“We have a couple of [baby] names we’re toying with. We’ll call him one name one week and one name another week. I think we have our favorite, but you never know. We could change our minds when we meet him,” she told People at the time.
