Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has Jason Statham to help stay in “touch with reality”.
The British model and action star have been dating for four years with rumors circulating earlier this year that the two would soon be tying the knot. But despite the star-powered couple’s high-profile careers, they stay grounded.
“That’s what makes being with an Englishman out there so great. I mean, we live in Hollywood for f**k’s sake. It would be easy to lose touch with reality,” the designer and actress told the UK edition of Harper’s Bazaar via Digital Spy.
The 27-year-old has worked for brands such as Burberry and Victoria’s Secret. Her long-standing collaboration with Marks & Spencer and her Rosie for Autograph lingerie line have put her on the map as a successful designer.
“It’s funny, because I’ve done several interviews where people have written about my ambition like it’s a bad thing,” the Transformers: Dark of the Moon actress said. “I’ve been lucky. I’ve been given some incredible opportunities, but you also have to be focused. You don’t get far without goals, drive, commitment, sacrifice.”
The model’s new Rosie for Autograph M&S range of lingerie is aimed at “all” women. When designing the line, she didn’t want to create a product that “only a 20-something model” could wear but to serve all “shapes and sizes and ages”.
“I love women and I wanted to make something for all women. Real women. I get tweets and texts and people will Instagram what they’re wearing. And it’s women of all different shapes and sizes and ages, and that makes me very proud.”
