Chris Hemsworth has become a father to twin boys after his wife Elsa Pataky gave birth today.
The Thor actor and his Spanish wife reportedly arrived at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in the early hours.
A rep for the 30-year-old has now confirmed to People Magazine that Elsa delivered twin boys.
The couple are already parents to daughter India Rose, who is 22 months and was born in London.
They revealed in January that they were expecting twins, and also spoke about how much parenthood had changed them.
“It makes it harder and harder to leave and go to work,” the Australian told People. “Being a father is certainly a task. But the best one that I could ever ask for.”
Elsa, 37, added: “You have to make an effort and try to stay together as much as you can. If we start splitting and doing other things it’s not going to last.”
TMZ reported earlier that Elsa’s delivery room was under “ultra-high security”.
A source claimed Chris was seen “strolling the hallway and is being escorted with a guard”.
The website added that their hospital suite was guarded by two security personnel as the labor progressed.
Chris and fellow actress Elsa met in early 2010 through their mutual representatives.
They married in December 2010 and welcomed India into their family unit in 2012.
