Neil Patrick Harris has reportedly splashed out $3.6 million on a New York City home.
The 40-year-old How I Met Your Mother star, who shares two children with fiancé David Burtka, is moving his family into a five-story townhouse in the Harlem borough, according to the New York Post.
The property, located at Fifth Avenue and 126th Street, spans a luxurious 8,000-square-feet.
It reportedly has five bedrooms, two terraces, a backyard and a chef’s kitchen.
Neil and David are believed to be moving from another Harlem abode and may need more room now for their growing family.
The couple share two-year-old fraternal twins Gideon Scott and Harper Grace.
Neil recently opened up about his joy at becoming a father, revealing that he can’t wait to have proper conversations with the pair.
“The first year with them was complicated. They were crying a lot,” he told USA Weekend in July.
“The older they get, the more I love being a dad. Now that they’re talking, I’m really loving the camp counselor end of parenting. I’m all about reasoning.
“If they fall and are okay but crying, David will be the hugger, and I’ll be the ‘Show me where it hurts; let’s talk about it’ one. I come from a family of lawyers, so explanation is crucial,” he said.
The television legend will present the 65th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards this month and he has served as master of ceremonies at the Tony Awards for the past three years. He also hosted the 2009 Emmy broadcast.
Neil equates presenting to being a circus ringmaster.
“The Tonys is its own beast,” he explained to Variety last month. “It’s much more ringmaster, P.T. Barnum — I feel like a huckster, trying to get people to tune in, and more importantly, embrace theatre and want to go see shows. The Emmys is a different animal.”
