Ricky Gervais doesn’t understand why Miley Cyrus can’t keep her tongue in her mouth.
The comedian spoke to E! News with his Muppets Most Wanted co-star, Kermit the Frog’s evil lookalike Constantine, and the pair agreed Miley has some major work to do on her image.
“You’re the only person I know with a longer tongue than her and you keep yours in your mouth until you need a fly,” Ricky mused, adding, “I’d say ‘stop it.’”
Constantine the frog also had a few words for the controversial pop star, known for twerking and sticking her tongue out in photos.
“Can’t you just get her on the right track?” Constantine asked. “I am evil, bad frog and I think she’s got to fix something. She’s got to figure something out.”
Asked if he could do a Miley impression, Constantine declined.
“I only use the tongue for purpose, I can’t just like throw it out there,” he joked.
Ricky plays Dominic Badguy in the upcoming movie. His character is the sidekick of Constantine, the world’s number one criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit the Frog who plots to steak England’s crown jewels in the forthcoming feature.
Miley had not responded to their remarks at press time, but her recent tweets indicate she wouldn’t be fazed much by the criticism.
The 21-year-old pop star recently defended herself against “outraged” parents who petitioned to shut down her ongoing Bangerz Tour, concerned the former Disney star was sending the wrong message to her young fans, according to HitFix.
“You can’t say I didn’t warn you. Now sit back relax & enjoy the show. #bangerztour,” the former Hannah Montana star wrote last month.
The tweet also included a photo of the star wearing the same thong leotard with marijuana leaves, and an image of parental advisory warning sticker on stage behind her.
“Save your complaints for the McDonalds drive thru when they forget the ‘fries with that,’” she wrote.
