Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck sit down and make strict schedules.
The actors married in 2005 and together they have daughters Violet, eight, and Seraphina, five, and two-year-old son Samuel. With such hectic careers and a big family, the pair are careful only to accept film roles that are worth it.
“I’m pretty selective [over roles],” Jennifer admitted to Us Weekly.
“Everything that comes my way – the first thing we do is talk schedule, location.
“I sit down with a calendar with my husband and in a very boring way, detail every single week… and what’s possible and if it can work out or not.”
One project Jennifer was willing to take on was sports drama Draft Day, which focuses on the NFL Draft and a manager who has to rebuild his team. She revealed how the family made it work.
“The script is so smart that we just moved the kids to Cleveland. And had a great time!” she grinned.
It’s likely Argo star Ben realized how important this film was, as he is a big sports fan himself. Hailing from Boston, this is the team he supports.
“When it’s playoffs and the Patriots or Red Sox are in the playoffs… Stop everything,” Jennifer laughed. “Eat in front of the TV, the world revolves around the game. Pretty intense.”
A source previously revealed that 41-year-old Jennifer would always do everything to keep her brood happy.
“Jen puts her husband and kids before fame,” an insider told Life & Style magazine.
