Lady Gaga’s fans want Sex Dreams to be her next single.
The pop star, who is counting down to the release of her new album ARTPOP, asked her Little Monsters to vote on Twitter and Facebook on what they would like to hear hit the airwaves after Applause.
“OK MONSTERS! Now that you’ve seen some of ARTPOP Live, what would be YOUR pick for 2nd Single?” she wrote after previewing the album at London’s iTunes Festival last weekend.
According to MTV, Sex Dreams is leading with close to 30,000 votes.
Swine, Aura and MANiCURE are reportedly trailing with 20,000, 19,000 and 17,000 votes, respectively.
The network reports some fans are concerned Sex Dreams won’t be well-received by mainstream media outlets because it’s “too dirty”.
The voting continues three days after Gaga took the stage Sunday for an hour-log show at London’s Roundhouse.
The singer performed seven tracks from the album, including a debut of Jewels & Drugs, which features the singer rapping for the first time alongside Twista, Too $hort and T.I.
The performance marked Gaga’s first full live set since the 27-year-old underwent hip surgery in February to treat a labral tear.
“To say that I’ve missed you, it’s a bit of an understatement, isn’t it?” she shouted over the mic.
The concert also followed a week after Gaga’s triumphant stage return at the MTV Video Music Awards – her first major show.
The star was wheelchair-bound for several weeks and forced the star to cancel several US dates on her Born This Way Ball concert tour as well as put her forthcoming album on hold as a result of the injury.
ARTPOP is scheduled for release November 11.
