Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the next two Golden Globe Awards.
The duo successfully helmed the event in January this year, making viewers laugh with their witty repertoire.
Now the ceremony’s official Twitter account has confirmed they will be back for the next two years running.
“Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return as hosts of the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards. #GoldenGlobes #Television #actors,” they wrote, quickly adding: “Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to return as hosts of the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards, and the 72nd in 2015. #Television #actors (sic).”
The pair are good friends and have often collaborated in the world of comedy.
With their critically-acclaimed performance garnering great views for the Golden Globes, it looks like the next two years could follow suit.
While Amy recently confirmed the girls had been asked back to host, she admitted they weren’t sure yet.
The Parks and Recreation star told Ryan Seacrest the women would be having a “powwow” about it as soon as they saw each other at the event.
“We only talk about awards shows on other awards shows,” Amy joked. “It’s disgusting.”
The actress insisted she hadn’t ruled out the opportunity because it would mean getting to reunite with her longtime pal.
“[I like] the idea of getting to see Tina in any form, because the only way we see each other is when we work,” she explained.
The 2014 Golden Globes will take place on January 12 in Beverly Hills.
