Eva Mendes admits she is “biased” when it comes to Ryan Gosling.
In recent months it was rumored the glamorous Hollywood couple ended their relationship briefly, but new reports claim a reconciliation took place.
And it appears Eva, who stars in Ryan’s directorial debut How to Catch a Monster, couldn’t be more impressed with her man.
“Yeah, it’s a beautiful, beautiful film. He really created the most beautiful, collaborative, creative atmosphere on set,” she gushed to E! News about Ryan’s directing skills, before noting with a loving smile, “I know I’m biased.”
The actress then went on to heap even more praise on her boyfriend, who she’s been dating since September 2011.
“He’s the best,” she said. “He’s the best.”
There was speculation the pair had split last year, with further reports they were no longer together last month. Eva laughed off the gossip during a US TV appearance and it was recently claimed Ryan, 33, begged her to give things another go.
“Ever since they broke up, Ryan’s been pleading with Eva to take him back,” an insider told British magazine Heat previously.
“He was a wreck without her – she’s his muse and the only woman alive who could give him the courage to try directing. They’re good for each other and a great match. He knows it and he’s not going to let her get away this time.”
How to Catch a Monster, which also stars Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks, is due for release later this year.
