Lena Dunham has been reminiscing over her very first talk show interview.
The creator and star of Girls is now a household name, with the smash hit show launching her career worldwide.
But the 27-year-old actress took some time out to reflect on her first ever chat show appearance, and praised host Craig Ferguson for putting her at ease.
“The first talk show I ever did was @CraigyFerg. He made me feel smart, special and beautiful and he is all three (sic),” Lena shared with her 1.5million followers on Twitter.
The reflective tweet comes after news broke that Craig is retiring from The Late Late Show. While some speculated it may not have been his decision to go, Craig has revealed to fans that it’s been in the pipeline for some time.
Lena also chose the social media site to thank a telephone operator she ordered a burger from in her time of need.
“I have a true friend in @campsucks [Jenni Konner] because I was sad and desperate and she explained to me how to get a burger to my house STAT.
“And to the Irish woman who took my phone order: you are an earthly angel and your voice may have saved my soul (sic),” she wrote.
Lena is well known for her witty posts, and often keeps fan entertained with what’s going on in her life.
To finish off her earlier deluge of tweets, Lena called out her boyfriend, fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff, for his poor movie knowledge.
“Jack just got home from a week away and the first thing he did was try to convince me that Tara Reid is in Schindler’s List (sic),” she wrote.
