Hilary Duff celebrated her birthday with a bowling party Friday night.
The former Lizzie McGuire star turned 26 on Saturday and ushered in another year with a group of good pals.
Hilary went out with husband Mike Comrie and a small group of friends and shared a picture of the night out with her 3.6 million Twitter followers.
“Love my #friends fun lil #party last night ?#bowling #cake #birthday,” she wrote.
The star smiles in the accompanying photo, ready to blow out her birthday cake candles as others smiled around her.
She also logged onto the micro-blog to thank her fans and friends for their well-wishes.
“Hiya hiya hiya!!! Thanks for the birthday luuv friends!!! You guys mean the world to me!! It’s my birthday it’s my birthday!!! Ooooooo yaaaa,” she gushed.
Hilary has grown up from her Disney days, having welcomed her baby boy Luca with Mike in March of 2012.
She recently swooned about the joys of being a first-time mom, telling In Touch magazine the older the tot gets the more his personality shines through.
“He gives me these really sweet gummy smiles. And he loves to feed our dogs. He’ll throw his food off his high chair and watch them go crazy over it. He thinks it’s the funniest thing in the world,” she said in May.
Although she loves being a mother, Hilary said she isn’t planning to give Luca a little brother or sister in the near future.
She’s focused on her only child and is trying to find a project worthy of making a career comeback at the moment.
“I’m not trying to have baby number two anytime soon,” she said, explaining, “I’m making some new music and reading scripts. But it’s tough to commit – now that I’m a mom, whatever I work on has to really be worth it.”
