Diesel salutes ‘brother Walker’

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker

Vin Diesel has paid tribute to his late “brother” Paul Walker.

The actor posted several photos and messages about his late Fast & Furious co-star in the wake of the actor’s fatal car crash over a month ago.

Thursday was no exception as Vin rang in the New Year, taking a moment to remember his friend.

“There was always moments of child-like laughter…” he wrote above a photo of the pair smiling.

“We had accomplished so much by 2013… P.s. The complexities of Brotherhood, and the painful void… of it’s absence. (sic)”

Paul was only age 40 when he lost his life alongside longtime friend Roger Rodas on November 30.

Roger was driving a red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT when he hit a utility pole and the car burst into flames in Santa Clarita, California. Both men, the only passengers, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Paul played one of the lead characters, Brian O’Conner, in the Fast & Furious franchise and was working on the seventh installment prior to the accident.

Vin previously remembered Paul in a Facebook post, revealing when fans could next flock to theaters to see the beloved actor’s final work.

“The last scene we filmed together…” Vin wrote above another photo.

“There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we’ve come… Fast and Furious 7 will be released…April 10th 2015!”

“P.s.,” Vin continued. “He’d want you to know first.”
