Jenna Dewan-Tatum is adamant that “opposites attract”.
The actress relied on a vegan diet to lose weight after giving birth to her daughter Everly with actor Channing Tatum in May 2013.
But according to Jenna, Channing can’t go without eating meat.
“Sometimes I can drag him to my vegetarian vegan restaurants – he politely eats, then promptly goes home and eats what he really wants!” she told People magazine. “Opposites attract!”
The 33-year-old is happy that despite Channing’s carnivorous habits, their daughter enjoys a vegan diet too.
But Jenna insists the choice is Everly’s, and the infant truly seems to love nutritious fare.
“She eats fruits and veggies and nothing else,” the dancer said. “I just want her to be healthy, choose healthy food habits. We’ll let her decide.”
The star goes on to say how much she is enjoying motherhood, and the fun of juggling family life with everything else that needs to be taken care of. Jenna, who says she worked out non-stop while she was pregnant, is enjoying the chaos.
“I’m trying to do eight million things in an hour. She doesn’t like to nap longer than an hour so I’ve got an hour to get everything I want done!” she laughed, adding that things are “very homey and fun. “There’s lots of music on and lots of laughter – it’s great.”
