Chris Brown has warned his fans that there are “snakes in the grass”.
The R&B star has just completed 90 days of court-ordered live-in rehab in Malibu, and has already thrown himself back into work by shooting a music video over the weekend.
But his good mood seems to have been darkened, and the 24-year-old shared his new plight in a series of tweets.
“Snakes in the grass….. Just stay positive.
“My old manager is leaking my NEW album and refuses to give me my back up hard drive to sabotage my album. That’s F’d up G! (sic)” he posted, before removing the tweet.
Chris’ former manager Tina Davis was quick to fire back that this wasn’t the case.
Tina had been Chris’ manager since the start of his career, but they parted ways earlier this year. The Don’t Judge Me singer is now represented by Def Jam VP of A&R, Bu Thiam.
“@chrisbrown Trace it! Find out where it originated from…RCA can do that for you. Then send a defaming tweet out on who really did it (sic),” Tina wrote, before deleting the post.
Chris’ girlfriend Karrueche Tran also shared a cryptic tweet, though it’s not clear who she’s referring to in the message.
“sh*t ain’t gon change if you don’t make a change (sic),” she posted earlier today.
Reports surfaced this weekend that Chris has extended his stay in rehab, which he was ordered to attend so he could receive treatment for anger management issues.
“It was his choice. He will come out soon,” a source revealed to E! News.
Chris’ new album X will be released on his birthday, May 5.
