Cher admits she’s a hypocrite “once in a great while”.
The 68-year-old singer is known to fiercely take up causes, and often turns to Twitter to voice polarizing opinions.
But she admitted to her more than two million followers on Thursday she’s guilty of occasionally not being as virtuous as she lets on.
“Once in a GREAT While I Can B Hypocritical,” she confessed on the micro-blog.
The star sees power in being honest and accepting of all her traits, including those less desirable.
She urges others to do the same, insisting self-awareness precedes growth.
“P***es me OFF Be aware of your Qualities Good & Bad. Cant change em if u wont Acknowledge Them (sic),” she added.
Cher is currently on a brief break from her Dressed To Kill farewell tour.
The pop star, who will resume shows in North America next month, recently admitted the idea of retiring from tour life is also difficult to accept.
Taking to Twitter after a concert in San Jose, California last month, she wrote: “Great audience… Its hard to Say goodbye 4 Ever (sic).”
The Dressed To Kill trek marks Cher’s first time hitting the road for a major tour in nearly a decade.
She previously appeared to be on her way to retirement with Living Proof: The Farewell Tour, which ran from 2002 to 2005.
She followed that up with a residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which ran from 2008 to 2011.
The If I Could Turn Back Time hitmaker is next scheduled to play in Albany, New York on September 11 and will continue across the US and Canada before wrapping up the concert series in Wichita, Kansas in November.
