Cara Delevingne reportedly thinks Michelle Rodriguez can get “slightly obsessed” with other women.
The relationship between the 21-year-old model and 35-year-old actress is said to have cooled down recently after rumors surfaced that Cara wasn’t ready to embark on something serious.
Since then the pair have been doing their own thing, with Cara spending more and more time with her fashionable pals Suki Waterhouse and Georgia May Jagger. Michelle has also been mingling with fellow stars and was snapped with actress Evan Rachel Wood at an event in Hollywood last month.
Evan, who has been open about her bisexuality in the past, recently split from her husband Jamie Bell and it is thought her spending time with Michelle aggravated Cara.
“They were still talking but things went from serious to casual about six weeks ago. Cara realized there were too many sacrifices to make things work, and she couldn’t deal with the drama of juggling work with their relationship,” a source told British magazine Look.
“Then, Michelle started going al gooey-eyed over Evan, which was reported back to Cara and she took a dim view of it. There’s no going back. She knows Michelle can become slightly obsessed with other women, and she was not prepared to waste her time.”
Evan was quick to deny any romance with Michelle, taking to her Twitter to slam rumors they had ‘hooked up’.
But it seems there have been other troubles in Michelle and Cara’s love life which have reared their head over recent months.
“Michelle really made an effort with Cara’s family and friends, but she didn’t find them that easy to get along with. [Cara's sister] Poppy’s hen do at Coachella was when the tiffs started, but the relationship turned really sour about six weeks ago when Cara jetted to New York for the Met Gala,” the source added.
The insider continued to claim Cara was keen for Michelle to join her at the bash, but she ended up spending the evening with friend Rihanna when the Fast & Furious actress declined.
