Bullock: My son might hate me

Sandra Bullock worries she will embarrass her son Louis.

The Oscar-winning actress was recently commemorated with a hand- and footprint ceremony at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Sandra fears that as three-year-old Louis gets older, he’ll turn into a typical stroppy teenager.

To remind him of his younger self, Sandra held a private ceremony at her home for Louis to make his own hand- and footprint in front of friends and family.

“Later on when he hates me and I’m an embarrassment, I’ll say, ‘Come here, let me show you what we did when you were younger and how much you liked me at that time,’” she laughed to the Today show.

Sandra split from her ex-husband Jesse James shortly after starting the adoption process and has raised Louis as a single parent.

Having her son at special occasions, such as the recent ceremony, is extra special for the star.

“You try not to make a lot out of it, but having him [there]… he’s made everything sweet,” she smiled.

Sandra recently confided to Vogue magazine that she would be willing to give up her life in front of the camera if her career started to affect Louis.

“I think this business can take the child out of kids so quickly. I don’t want him to have pressures brought on by what I do. I will quit. I will leave. If I see whatever I’m doing affecting him negatively, I will pack up and move to Alaska,” she said.

Sandra is currently starring in space blockbuster Gravity with George Clooney.

The pair have since been romantically linked, but Sandra set the record straight when she was grilled by chat show host Jay Leno.

“No. I think we are probably the only two that haven’t dated in the business. I think it’s because we’re a little too similar… in all the disturbing ways,” she joked.
