Sandra Bullock’s representative says recent quotes attributed to the actress about her divorce were “completely manufactured”.
The 49-year-old actress reportedly said she had been “on the floor” and “heartbroken” in the wake of her 2010 split from ex-husband Jesse James, according to UK newspaper The Mirror.
A spokesperson for the Oscar-winner has now slammed its editors for fabricating content.
“Not only is the quote completely manufactured, but there was no discussion of her divorce during the interview,” the representative told Entertainment Tonight.
Sandra is said to have most recently opened up about her marital split in the October issue of American Vogue.
The 49-year-old star, whose three-year-old adopted son Louis is now the main man in her life, was reflective about her past and optimistic about the future.
“We’re all where we’re supposed to be,” she said. “I am exactly where I want to be now. You can’t go backward. I’m not going backward.
“I’m grateful that I’m here, blessed to have what I have. Nobody can be prepared for anything.”
Sandra can next be seen on the big screen in forthcoming sci-fi drama Gravity, about a medical engineer and an astronaut who go adrift in space.
The film, co-starring George Clooney, is scheduled for US release October 4.
