Bruce Willis’ mother-in-law thinks he and his wife are “a right bore”.
The Hollywood hardman and his spouse Emma Heming recently welcomed their second daughter Evelyn, a sister for two-year-old Mabel. The pair couldn’t be happier with their family unit, with Emma, 35, insisting they wouldn’t swap what they have for a life of wild parties.
“He’s a family man. He loves being a dad. As for our social life, we’re both low-key,” she told British magazine Hello!. “We aren’t at every party, nor do we want to be. We love being at home with Mabel. My mom calls us a right bore.”
Bruce, 59, have three daughters with his ex-wife Demi Moore. When they began dating Emma was immediately struck by how close he was to his kids, which she found attractive. The actor relishes his family of females, telling Emma he’d happily have a lot more daughters in the future.
“Seeing Bruce as a father to his three girls early on is really one of the reasons I fell in love with him. I truly haven’t witnessed a father like him before. He is a bottomless well of love and affection to his girls. All four of them are so fortunate to have him as a father – and they know it as well,” she said in the interview conducted before Evelyn was born on May 5.
Much has been made of the age gap between Bruce and Emma, but she doesn’t understand what the fuss is about. She couldn’t be happier and insists the star’s spirit is so young she often forgets he’s actually older than her.
“He’s very low-key. Thankfully, he’s not Hollywood at all. I’d say the complete opposite. He’s hilarious and gets me belly laughing daily. He is charismatic and terribly sexy,” she gushed.
“Yes – I feel like the older one is this relationship! No, seriously, I don’t feel at all aware of the age gap. Sure, we have our differences like any couple, but he’s the perfect man for me. I’m lucky he felt the same about me.”
