Bruce Jenner is reportedly quitting Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The Olympic athlete confirmed his separation from Kris Jenner last year, following a 22-year marriage. Although neither has filed for divorce at the moment, Bruce is apparently gearing up to make some major changes to his life.
“Bruce Jenner wants nothing to do with Hollywood, and that includes his own reality show,” according to TMZ.
The show has helped launch the careers of Kris’ daughter Kim, Kourtney and Khloé, as well as her children with Bruce Kendall and Kylie.
The family are currently shooting the end of the latest installment, which has seen the family get used to Kris and Bruce’s separation and Khloé cope with her marriage breakdown with Lamar Odom.
At the moment it isn’t known whether it will be renewed, but even if it is Bruce has apparently made it clear he is moving on.
TMZ claims both family and production sources have made the claims.
Although the 64-year-old star has been in the currently-on-screen ninth season of the show, he hasn’t had many scenes. Those he does appear in tend to be shot at his home in Malibu.
Retiring from the limelight will give Bruce more time for the things he loves, such as golfing and riding motorbikes. He apparently also wants to spend more time with his six children. As well as Kendall and Kylie he has Burt and Casey with his first wife Chrystie Crownover and Brandon and Brody with his second spouse Linda Thompson.
Bruce’s relationship with Brandon and Brody has been particularly difficult over the years.
“Bruce wants to cement the relationship with his sons that he never had when they were growing up. The relationship is much better than it was but he wants to continue to strengthen it,” the site claimed.
