Blake Lively threw herself an impromptu ice cream party after attending the Met Gala.
The stunning 26-year-old actress went to the annual event in New York City Monday night with her husband Ryan Reynolds.
Although many of her other A-list peers made an appearance at a huge bash just after the Met Ball ended, Blake decided to skip those parties and visit a posh ice cream shop on Manhattan’s Upper East Side instead.
“I went to [Serendipity 3]… had frozen hot chocolate with extra peanut butter sauce on the side. Closed that place down! That’s how I do an after party!” she laughed to Extra.
Blake wore a stunning gold custom Gucci Premiere gown on the Met Gala red carpet.
And because she eats nutritiously all the time, the star doesn’t feel the need to meticulously count calories before donning couture dresses.
“I like to cook… I use a lot of fresh ingredients, which really does make a huge difference. It’s easier to be healthy when eating things that are fresh, because they are often fruits and vegetables, but I also live a very active lifestyle,” Blake explained.
Blake is currently filming historical drama The Age of Adeline, but she still finds time for some of her favorite charities.
The gorgeous blonde was a guest of honor at Gucci’s Chime for Change party Tuesday night, and she is confident her work with the organization will alter many women’s lives for good.
“You get a promo code on your bottle of perfume and you go to ChimeforChange.org. You can decide which pillar means the most to you. Health, education and justice for women… if we work on these three things, it will change the lives of women,” Blake said.
