Bieber’s home ‘not a drug den’

Authorities are debunking reports Justin Bieber’s home was found “strewn” with drugs during a raid last week.

According to the Los Angeles Sheriff, rumors the 19-year-old’s Calabasas mansion had a “smoking room” and “cookie jars full of weed” was completely untrue.

The only illegal substances found were the drugs in Lil Za’s room, resulting in the 20-year-old rapper’s subsequent arrest, authorities say.

According to the Sheriff, Justin’s home was “well kept and clean” and “didn’t smell or have an unusual odor,” reports E! News.

“The Sheriff also confirmed that authorities did not see any codeine bottles, containers of drugs or weed throughout the mansion,” writes the website.

Authorities are reiterating the reason for the raid was to find surveillance footage or any other kind of evidence related to an incident last week in which the pop star was accused of throwing eggs at a neighbor’s home, resulting in thousands of dollars in damage.

As a result of the action, security tapes and the singer’s cell phone were confiscated, according to E! The evidence is reportedly being investigated by a tech team to try and confirm whether the 19-year-old was in fact responsible for the vandalism.

“The purpose of the search warrant is to seek video surveillance or other possible evidence in the vandalism that occurred on January 9, 2014,” a police report obtained by the network states.

“The vandalism damage is estimated by the homeowner to be approximately $20,000.”
