Justin Bieber’s luggage was targeted by a police sniffer dog at the weekend.

The Canadian sensation was in Miami for a couple of days to party up a storm with pals Lil Jay Z and Lil Kevin Hart.

In pictures obtained by US website TMZ, Justin and his entourage’s bags were checked by a police sheriff and a sniffer dog at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

While the pooch – trained to detect substances including illegal drugs – searched through the luggage, Justin was busy “posing with fans”.

Law enforcement told TMZ “the reason cops searched the bags is because they received an anonymous tip someone in Justin’s party had drugs in their luggage. Justin’s bags, along with the bags of his entourage, were searched. Cops found nothing.”

Earlier this year, the 19-year-old superstar’s tour bus was stopped and seized for drugs during the North American leg of his Believe concert tour.

According to reports at the time, the “bus associated with Justin Bieber’s tour was stopped” at Ambassador Bridge, which connects Windsor, Canada, to Detroit. After a drug-sniffing hound detected narcotics on board, the vehicle was searched and authorities discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Justin wasn’t on the bus at the time and was not charged with any crime in association with the discovery.

The star has also been accused of smoking pot in the past, after posting an Instagram video in which he appeared to be high on a substance as he giggled throughout.

Meanwhile, Michael Jackson song Slave 2 The Rhythm featuring Justin Bieber had its first radio play over the weekend. The re-worked version of the late idol’s track featuring vocals from pop singer Justin was aired, with the star taking to Twitter ahead of the reveal.

“Excited for what is to come. MJ set the bar. Not only for music but for being an entertainer and how u treat the fans. Wish he was here…” he wrote, before adding: “MJ. The greatest of all time. #fact (sic).”
