Justin Bieber celebrated his four-year anniversary at the top of the pop charts on Sunday.
The 19-year-old singer released his debut album, My World, in November 2009 after he shot to fame when his YouTube channel, featuring the budding star singing covers, went viral.
He logged onto Twitter at the weekend to thank fans for their support through the years as he acknowledged the milestone.
“4 years ago i released #MyWorld and now we are here today. So much has happened for us and im grateful. Thank you Beliebers. I love you,” he wrote.
Justin is currently on a world tour promoting his third album, Believe.
He’s scheduled to play three dates in Mexico City beginning Monday night, followed by tours of New Zealand, Australia and Europe before he brings the trek to a close in Dublin on January 26.
The star meanwhile took a moment on Saturday to help raise money for a greater cause.
Justin posted a photo of himself online posing next to graffiti reading: “Pray 4 Philippines”, with a pair of praying hands and the singer’s initials.
TMZ reports the star plans to auction off the spray cans used to make the street art, as well as a signed picture of the wall.
He will reportedly donate the funds to a relief group aiding victim’s of Typhoon Haiyan, which slammed the island country earlier this month.
