Halle Berry has reportedly given birth to a baby boy.
The 47-year-old actress and her fiancé, Olivier Martinez, welcomed their first child on Saturday at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, according to E! News.
The boy will be little brother to Halle’s first child, daughter Nahla, with ex-partner Gabriel Aubry.
Halle’s spokesperson, who has not commented on the report, confirmed news the actress was expecting in April after she was spotted with a prominent baby bump.
Olivier subsequently gushed about his excitement about becoming a first-time dad, revealing the couple plan to raise the tot in the US rather than in his native France.
“I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture,” he said. “I feel good there – but I’m still a foreigner. My son will be an American.”
The baby news comes nearly three months after the couple reportedly married in Vallery, France in mid-July, according to French website Pure People.
Halle and Olivier announced their plans to wed in March 2012 after two years together.
The actress in April called her pregnancy “the biggest surprise of my life”.
“Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me,” she told CNN. “So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.”
