Kristen Bell loves hiking with her toddler.
The 33-year-old actress shares 15-month-old daughter Lincoln with husband Dax Shepard.
And she says trekking through terrain is the perfect activity to keep her in shape while allowing her to spend time with her family.
“My go-to workout is usually hiking. I often will strap the baby to my chest for the hike,” she told People magazine, explaining: “[Hiking] is easy because sometimes it doesn’t actually take me away from anything because my whole family’s coming on the hike.”
Kristen meanwhile is loving being a first-time mom. While she admits caring for little Lincoln is challenging, she can think of few thinks as gratifying.
“She’s delicious. It’s such a fun age,” the Veronica Mars star gushed. “I feel like having a toddler is exhausting and extremely rewarding – and far more rewarding than exhausting,” she said.
Kristen and Dax have dominated headlines in recent months for their fight to keep the paparazzi away from little Lincoln, and other children of celebrities.
The couple launched a #NoKidsPolicy campaign on Twitter, in which they refused to interview with news providers that publish pictures of celebrity babies.
Speaking to USA Today, the actress recently championed the results of their efforts.
“The paparazzi don’t respect anybody. Let’s start there. Their job by nature is disrespectful. Since I’ve gotten so vocal and have spoken out, they have left my family alone. And I’ve heard from other notable families as well that they had a respite for the first time in years,” she said.
