David and Victoria Beckham are said to be investing in a “panic room” and a CCTV system that can be checked from anywhere in the world.
The A-List couple are currently renovating their new $52 million London home and sources say they’ll be buying the best security equipment to keep them safe.
They will reportedly be spending $1.7 million on the measures in the new house.
“They will have a panic room, a 24-hour, 60-camera CCTV system they can check from anywhere in the world, and a fingerprint recognition entry phones,” a source close to the Beckham family told British magazine Grazia.
The family have relocated back to England after a stint in Los Angeles and have called on the talents of their artistic interior designer friend Kelly Hoppen to oversee all the decorating in their new property.
Kelly is rumored to have had one-on-one chats with the Beckham children to design rooms that suit them perfectly.
Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11 and eight-year-old Cruz are said to be big art fans and will have expensive pieces adorning their bedroom walls.
“The boys will continue the art theme with prints by Banksy in each of their bedrooms,” the source confirmed.
The insider also divulged that two-year-old Harper will get a “toddle-in” wardrobe for her clothes.
David has also called on the help of his close pal chef Gordon Ramsey to help design the kitchen
“He advised on the best equipment. There will even be a dessert station and a room to cater for up to 50 people,” the insider continued.
Victoria recently spoke of her joy at being back in London and is said to be planning on installing a manicure, hair salon and spa in her new eight bedroom, seven bathroom mansion.
