George Michael still in the hospital

George Michael is being “kept in the hospital” following his car crash.

The singer was airlifted to a specialist trauma center with a head injury following a motorway accident in the UK last week.

A spokesperson for the star revealed George will remain at the London hospital for the time being.

“[He's] making good progress,” the spokesperson told the BBC. “Following the traffic accident on Thursday, we can confirm that he is still in hospital. We are keen to stress it’s purely as a precaution for observation. He did suffer a couple of bumps and bruises to the head and that’s why they are keeping him in – to keep an eye on him. He is doing better. He is making good progress and is looking forward to getting out.”

Gary Sanderson, of the East of England Ambulance Service, confirmed that they had treated a man in his 40s after a car accident last week.

The spokesperson for the medics added that George was “fully conscious” throughout the incident.

“The patient was on the road when paramedics arrived,” Gary said.

“The patient required further assessments at a specialist trauma center after he received a head injury. He was fully conscious throughout his treatment at the scene and flight to hospital and the injuries were deemed non-life threatening.”

An eye witness at the scene has come forward to share what she saw during the incident.

Katherine Fox was driving behind the Range Rover that the 49-year-old international super star was traveling in when she saw him fall out of the passenger door of the vehicle.

She has recalled slamming on her brakes in a desperate attempt to avoid running him over.

“He was lucky he didn’t die,” she told British newspaper The Sun.

“There was a nasty cut on his forehead and the back of his head. There was blood all down his face and on his teeth. He was breathing and conscious but in shock.”

Jessica Lowndes loves boyfriend sleepovers

Jessica Lowndes says her boyfriend Thom Evans is the perfect “sleepover buddy”.

The 90210 star is dating former Scottish rugby player Thom Evans and is currently spending time with her beau in London.

The gorgeous actress believes it’s only a matter of time before they officially start living together.

“We basically are already, we’ve been by each other’s side ever since we met and we’ve traveled all over, so there’s certainly going to be a discussion when we get back to LA. He’s a good sleepover buddy!” she smiled to the British edition of OK! magazine.

Spending so much time together means the pair have already got to know each other’s bad habits.

Overall, 24-year-old Jessica is happy having Thom as a roommate.

“There are definitely imperfections, but it’s all about seeing an imperfect person perfectly,” she mused.

“Like any guy, he leaves the toilet seat up, but he’s very clean and makes the bed – he even does the dishes. I’ve been living out of a suitcase and brought way too many clothes so he’s been helping me organize everything, he’s so sweet!”

Earlier this year it was announced 90210 will wrap after the fifth season.

Jessica admits her troubled character Adrianna could be a bit of a handful.

“She’s kind of gone through everything!” she laughed to BBC Radio 1.

“It’s a lot! I guess the singing and pursuing her music career… This season she’s cleaned her act up a bit, but she’s still addicted to drama!”

Kevin Jonas says opposites attract

Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle Deleasa are “pretty much the opposite”.

The Jonas Brothers star wed the former hairdresser in 2009 and they have their own reality TV show, Married to Jonas.

Despite being very much in love, the couple do have disagreements when it comes to keeping the house tidy.

“It’s funny because both of us are pretty much the opposite,” he smiled to the British edition of OK! magazine.

“I’m very messy so sometimes that bites me in the butt because she’s extremely organized and clean, so it definitely takes a toll, but it’s nice having that person with you. You start to realize how nice and clean everything is all the time.”

Having their own TV show means the couple’s every move is documented for their fans.

Sometimes, looking back over disputes can be tough for the singer.

“The other night we had an argument. Sometimes you say things you don’t necessarily mean or it’s misconstrued,” he admitted.

“All you want is for the person to be with you. It came across as me never wanting her to get a job and that I think her place is in the house, and that wasn’t my opinion at all.”

With Kevin’s busy schedule, it can be difficult for the pair to spend time together.

The lovebirds grab every opportunity for romantic dates.

“Anytime we can be together is important and anything fun or unique we haven’t done in a while is always nice,” he revealed.

“Going for dinner is always a plus or going to a movie or bowling.”

Kellan Lutz: I want to be underdog

Kellan Lutz would like to play “the underdog”.

The actor says his good looks and toned physique can be hindering when it comes to his career.

The Twilight star would love to be cast as a gritty character, rather than always landing the hunky heartthrob roles.

“Because of my physique I believe I am typecast a little bit. There have been times where I tell my manager I want to play something different, I want to play the underdog, or the guy who got beat up in high school,” Kellan told August Man Malaysia magazine. “And he just laughs at me, and tells me I’ve been blessed with a strong body and to work with my strengths, and use what God gave me.”

Kellan appears on the June cover of the magazine, where he illustrates his dilemma by showing off his brooding handsomeness dressed in a dapper suit.

For his next role, the actor will play Greek demigod Hercules in the upcoming 3D movie directed by Renny Harlin.

“I know Renny will probably be one of the best directors I’ve ever worked with, and we get along so well that I’m sure it will be an amazing experience. He has also surrounded me with such an amazing and talented cast to bring this legendary story to life,” Kellan gushed.

This isn’t the only buff bodied hero Kellan has been cast as since finishing the Twilight franchise. His fine physical attributes have also landed him the title role in the upcoming film Tarzan set for release later this year.

“When Twilight ended it was bittersweet,” he reflected. “I was so blessed and lucky to be a part of it, that I’ll never forget a single moment. The screaming fans, the amazing directors, awesome cast and crew, all the travelling, my character, everything was amazing.”

Taylor Swift: I want my shows to be emotional

Taylor Swift’s tour set list “hits different emotional levels” throughout the show.

The singer and songwriter wants every single song to make an impact on the audience and puts a lot of effort into deciding the best order of tracks.

The hugely successful country star is currently touring North America with her latest album Red and will be performing in Austin, Texas, tonight.

Taylor knew opening track State of Grace would start her show even when she was still writing it.

“You kind of plan the show so that it hits different emotional levels throughout the entire evening, which is what you’re hoping for,” Taylor told Australian radio show Kyle and Jackie O. “For me, it’s very important to have every song in the show be engaging – not just the first and the last. But when I wrote the song that ended up being the first on the show I had this feeling, like, ‘This is going to start the show’.”

Taylor also spoke about the special “bond” she shares with her fans.

When asked whether she feels like she has her audience “on a string”, the 23 year old star explained that she simply shares genuine feelings and experiences with her fans.

Taylor added that she loves watching how her audience reacts throughout the show.

“For me, we have gone through the same things and have apparently thought about it in the same way, so that’s a really cool bond, and a cool connection,” she said. “It’s amazing to look out into the crowd every single night and see that connection and see which people relate to different songs in different ways.”

Schwarzenegger ‘not rushing divorce’

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver are apparently in no hurry to divorce because they don’t “need” the money.

The pair separated in May 2011 after 25 years of marriage, but are yet to make the split official.

According to TMZ, they are in no rush to divorce because it will have “no impact” on their current lifestyles.

“Neither Arnold nor Maria feel any urgency to get a judge to make the divorce official, even though all of the money and custody issues have been worked out,” a source told the website.

“They’re worth approximately $400 million – which they agree they’ll split down the middle – so it’s not like they need the divorce to buy a house.”

However, there could also be a more romantic reason they aren’t rushing to take make things legal.

Other insiders claim there is still a spark between them.

“They are not done with each other, and there’s still a chance they’ll get back together,” a source revealed.

“Both Arnold and Maria have sent mixed messages to their friends and family – at times saying they want the divorce, and other times talking about how they still feel love for their long-time partner.”

Last month, Arnold was seen wining and dining rumored new flame Heather Milligan and her family.

The apparent relationship between the star and Heather has reportedly put a bit of pressure on Maria to get a divorce.

“Lately Maria is more amenable to divorce because she’s hearing that Arnold has a girlfriend,” an insider claimed.

Brad Pitt ‘writes Jolie heartfelt letter’

Brad Pitt apparently stayed up “all night” writing Angelina Jolie a letter when she was going through her double mastectomy.

Last week Angelina revealed that she underwent preventative surgery after discovering she carried the BRCA1 gene which increases her risk of cancer. The star chose to embark on the three month procedure after doctors predicted she had an 87 per cent risk of breast cancer and a 50 per cent risk of ovarian cancer. Brad stayed by Angelina’s bedside throughout her operations and decided to pour his emotions into a heartfelt letter.

“The whole experience hit him a lot harder than he expected. He found it really hard seeing her in pain and was wracked with worry throughout the operation,” a source told British magazine Grazia.

“While she was sleeping, he stayed up all night writing her a letter. One of his biggest points was that he regretted that he had not made an honest woman of her yet. He said that the experience made him feel like he just wanted to marry her as soon as possible.”

Brad – who described Angelina’s decision as “absolutely heroic” – is believed to have kept a 48 hour vigil by his fiancée’s bedside after the initial surgery.

The 37 year old beauty was apparently too tired to look at the letter when she woke up, so Brad read it aloud for her and ended up in tears.

“The letter was at least five pages long,” the source added. “Brad also spoke a lot about how he admired her for being such a strong woman, for her humanitarian work and spoke at length about how she would always look after him whenever he needed her. He promised to do the same for her.”

It has been claimed that the experience has made the couple realize they want to marry “sooner rather than later”. The Hollywood stars raise six children together and are expected to tie the knot at their home in France this summer.

“Brad, Angelina and their children are flying to the French Riviera soon to put the final touches to what is now being slated as an early July wedding,” said the insider. “They’ve got Robert Procop-designed rings and have a three-tiered chocolate cake on order and flowers including tiger lilies, which were Angie’s mom’s favorite. It’s going to be a day full of love, laughter and focused on the future.”

Chris Brown ‘linked to Topshop heiress’

Chris Brown is apparently getting close to Marc Anthony’s ex-girlfriend Chloe Green.

The Topshop heiress finished her relationship with Marc last month and reportedly now has her eye on the controversial singer.

Despite rumors Chris is patching things up with his former flame Karrueche Tran after ending things with on/off girlfriend Rihanna, he is said to be open about Chloe’s interest.

“Chloe met Chris last year when he serenaded her at her dad’s 60th birthday party. She was always a big fan and thinks he’s really hot,” a source told British newspaper The Mirror.

“After he split with Rihanna and she split from Marc, they’ve been spending more time together and having a lot of fun. It’s early days, but they’ve not been shy about being seen out at the same places.”

Chris and Rihanna went public with their break up this month, with Chris claiming he is too young to be “wife-ing” the Barbadian star.

The former couple even deleted each other on Twitter, but Rihanna is apparently keeping up to date with her ex-boyfriend’s antics.

“It’s the sort of thing Rihanna keeps an eye on, and she’s definitely aware of Chloe being on the scene,” the insider continued.

Rihanna and Chris have had a turbulent relationship since the Beautiful People singer assaulted her in 2009.

Despite their troubled past, Rihanna’s father is behind their romance and is convinced their most recent split won’t last forever.

“I’m still his number one fan – I still like Chris regardless,” her dad Ronald Fenty told UK publication The Sun.

“They have a very passionate relationship but if they split up it does not mean it’s forever with them. In a couple of months they’ll be back together.”

Brad Pitt: I’m happy

Brad Pitt is “happier” than ever with his life.

The actor has opened up about his fiancée Angelina Jolie and the six children they raise together in a new interview with Esquire magazine. Angelina recently announced she had a double mastectomy, and Brad says their bond is stronger than ever.

“I have very few friends. I have a handful of close friends and I have my family and I haven’t known life to be any happier,” he explained. “I’m making things. I just haven’t known life to be any happier.”

Last week, Angelina revealed that she underwent a preventative double mastectomy after discovering she carried the BRCA1 gene which dramatically increases a woman’s risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer.

Brad said he was proud Angelina had decided to speak out and hoped it would “empower” other women, adding the experience had made their family “stronger”.

Brad and Angelina are expected to wed this year and the 49 year old hunk also discussed his role as a father in the interview. Although raising six kids can be hectic at times, Brad wouldn’t have it any other way at home.

“I always thought that if I wanted to do a family, I wanted to do it big. I wanted there to be chaos in the house… there’s constant chatter in our house, whether it’s giggling or screaming or crying or banging,” he smiled. “I love it. I love it. I love it. I hate it when they’re gone. I hate it. Maybe it’s nice to be in a hotel room for a day – ‘Oh, nice, I can finally read a paper.’ But then, by the next day, I miss that cacophony, all that life.”

Brad went on to confess his recreational drug use had a big impact on his life in the past.

The star realized he would need to clean up his act if he wanted to have a successful career.

“For a long time I thought I did too much damage – drug damage. I was a bit of a drifter. A guy who felt he grew up in something of a vacuum and wanted to see things, wanted to be inspired. I followed that other thing. I spent years f**king off,” he admitted. “But then I got burnt out and felt that I was wasting my opportunity. It was a conscious change. This was about a decade ago. It was an epiphany – a decision not to squander my opportunities. It was a feeling of get up. Because otherwise, what’s the point?”

Delevingne rejects DiCaprio’s romantic offer

Cara Delevingne reportedly refused Leonardo DiCaprio’s romantic advances at Cannes Film Festival.

The 20-year-old model apparently met the actor at an after party for his film The Great Gatsby.

However she was not interested in being wooed by the 38-year-old star as she considers him too mature.

“Normally all Leo has to do is look at a girl and they fall at his feet,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “Though Cara was having none of it.

“He spent the night chasing after her and essentially she blew him out.”

According to the insider Cara was forced to avoid kissing him as he constantly tried to plant kisses on her.

Although they allegedly exchanged contact details, she would not leave the French venue with him.

“They spoke and he was pretty forward inviting her to a party back at his suite,” the source continued. “They swapped numbers but that was it.

“He tried every trick in the book and apparently kept lunging for her but she kept dodging them.”

Apparently friends of the catwalk star are shocked she rejected the movie favorite.

He has dated other huge runway names such as Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli, Eva Herzigova and Erin Heatherton.

“Everyone is howling at the fact she actually knocked back the biggest actor in the world,” the insider commented. “She thought he was too forward and too old.
