Armie Hammer and his wife are expecting their first child.
The Lone Ranger actor married journalist-and-TV-host Elizabeth Chambers in 2010, after being introduced by friends.
Now his rep has confirmed to People magazine that the 27-year-old hunk and Elizabeth, 31, will become parents for the first time.
The way Armie’s life is going may come as a shock for him, as he never thought he’d settle down.
“I was always the guy who thought I’d never get married because [I thought], ‘There’s never going to be one woman worth giving up all the others,’” he previously told the magazine of Elizabeth. “But she knocked me off my feet.”
One of Armie’s biggest roles to date was opposite Johnny Depp in last year’s action adventure The Lone Ranger.
He might play some tough characters but the star is a real softie at heart, as his wife revealed.
“When we finally got together, Armie really wanted to get married,” she previously smiled to Town & Country magazine.
“He sat me down and said, ‘Look, we don’t have to do this. We could just go our own ways, and then one day you’ll be 40 and divorced and we’ll run into each other, and we’ll laugh and go out to dinner and have this same connection, and we’ll wonder why we wasted all of that time. Or we could just do it now and enjoy the ride.’”
