Jennifer Aniston is supposedly on an active hunt for a surrogate.
The 44-year-old actress and her fiancé Justin Theroux are thought to be finally ready to expand their family.
And it is claimed while they vacationed in Mexico over the Christmas holidays, they laid out a pregnancy action plan.
“The holiday was an opportunity to spend quality time together and discuss their future and plans for a family,” a source told InTouch magazine.
“Now, they are investigating finding the right candidate to carry their child.”
Although they are purportedly excited over the prospect of welcoming a new addition, it is claimed Jennifer is experiencing slight trepidation.
Apparently she still hopes to become pregnant in a natural manner, but it is said the star is quickly coming to terms with alternative methods.
“Of course, she’d still love to get pregnant naturally, but she’s under no illusion that it would come easily, as she turns 45 on Feb 11,” an insider revealed.
“Surrogacy is the perfect solution.”
Jennifer and Justin, who have been together for two-and-a-half years, often fly to Mexico for their holidays but this year saw a more serious element to the trip.
After being apart for so long due to work obligations, they reportedly took the time to make some big decisions about the future of their relationship.
“After a tense few months they wanted to spend some much needed time away together to patch things up, and decide how to move forward,” a source close to the couple revealed to Britain’s Grazia magazine.
“They both agreed that it was worth trying to make things work.”
Jennifer is based in Los Angeles and busy with film roles, while Justin is currently residing on the East Coast of America filming TV series The Leftovers in New York.
They got engaged in 2012 but have yet to set a date for the wedding.
