Angelina Jolie won’t be upping her security team.
The Oscar-winning actress has spoken out after her fiancé Brad Pitt’s recent run in with an overly enthusiastic prankster. The Moneyball actor was approached by Ukrainian TV personality Vitalii Sediuk, who tried to “bury his face” in his crotch as Brad recalled, at the Hollywood premiere of Maleficent last week.
“People like that are an exception to the rule,” Angelina told The Associated Press. “Most fans are just wonderful. We’ve had a wonderful experience over the years, and we’re very grateful for their support, and it will not change the way we behave.”
Vitalii, who has previously accosted Bradley Cooper and America Ferrera in a similar manner, has been slapped with a restraining order in the wake of the outburst.
Far from fazing Angelina, the star has once again flown her family out for the Disney movie’s latest promo stop in China. The brunette beauty is joined by Brad and their six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne, who are all soaking up the culture in Shanghai.
“We went to the Long Museum for Contemporary Art. [The children] are having a dim sum class today and a lot of the local food. We love Chinese food anyway, so now we get to have the authentic Chinese food, and … they are having a wonderful time. Vivienne asked me not to go home today,” Angelina laughed.
Maleficent, which is a retelling of classic fairytale Sleeping Beauty, has stormed the box office and marked the biggest opening weekend of Angelina’s career, raking in $70million in North America alone.
The landmark achievement came just days before her 39th birthday, which she’ll be celebrating tomorrow.
“Like every mother my wish every birthday is for my children to stay healthy [and] for my family to remain healthy, so I will continue that,” she said.
