Angelina Jolie: I terrified children

Angelina Jolie prompted pure terror in children while dressed as Maleficent.

The 38-year-old mother-of-six plays the titular role of the evil witch who curses Sleeping Beauty in the new Disney picture.

Angelina wore a frightening costume while depicting Maleficent that terrified almost every child who crossed her path.

“People with little kids would visit set, and I would think, ‘I’m a Disney character,’ ” she recalled during a surprise appearance at the D23 fan convention in Anaheim, California on Saturday.

“And I would go over to the children, and they’d scream and run off. One little kid even said, ‘Mommy, please tell the mean witch to stop talking to me.’ I guess we did a good job.”

Angelina’s daughter Vivienne portrays the Young Aurora in the feature.

The tyke didn’t find her mother as scary as the other children did because she got to witness hair and makeup professionals transform Angelina into a witch.

“Vivienne was the only four-year-old who wouldn’t scream,” Angelina smiled. “She and I got to be part of it together.”

The rest of the children she and fiancé Brad Pitt share together were nearby riding rollercoasters while their mother spoke to Disney fans.

“They are playing at the [Disneyland theme] park now,” Angelina said.

The proud parents are rumored to be adding even more children to their brood.

However the Hollywood couple reportedly aren’t looking to expand their family much further.

“They both have moments of real heartfelt honesty when they’ll say they were born to do the job of parents,” an insider told America’s OK! magazine recently.

“They love their incredible family and can’t wait to add two more, although they both agree that might be the end.”

Maleficent, which also stars Elle Fanning as Sleeping Beauty, will reach theatres in summer 2014.
