Alba’s kids confused by career

Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba’s daughter thinks she “plays dress-up” for a living.

The actress is married to Cash Warren and they have two daughters, two-year-old Haven and Honor, five.

Having appeared in films including the Sin City franchise, where she’s leather clad as Nancy Callahan, Jessica understand why her kids might be confused about her job.

“I like being able to do films that my kids can see,” she smiled to the British edition of OK! magazine.

“When it comes to doing movies, Honor will come on set and see that I sit in a trailer and get different hair and make-up done – she thinks I play dress-up for a living!

“I didn’t want to work that much when my kids were younger. I’m very comfortable with having decided to stay at home and not disrupt their lives by being away, or by taking them with me to film sets.”

Jessica also runs The Honest Company, which specializes in eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning products.

With her busy career and hectic family life, she works hard to keep everything ticking over.

“I try my best to juggle things,” she smiled.

“I love spending as much time as possible with my kids. They actually de-stress me because I can lose myself in playing with them and being in their little world. I also have a very good business partner and I rely on my husband to give me sound and logical business advice. He helps me a lot.”

Jessica also has a book titled The Honest Life: Living Naturally and True to You, which she claims offers a simple and realistic way to lead a healthy life.
