I would like to salute sergeant first class Hillis. Sfc Hillis is a platoon sergeant in my unit in Ohio. She has been in the military since before I was born. She has served a tour in Iraq, and I have the honor of getting ready to deploy with her to Afghanistan in April. Her leadership and dedication to her country is incredible. Not only is she a superior leader as a platoon sergeant, she is also someone I can alway count on in the military and civilian side of life. She has helped me accomplish many things and I am so thankful for knowing such a great American hero.
