An award-winning actor and director will be making a movie in the Tri-State.
Emilio Estevez, Mayor Mark Mallory and Kristen Erwin, executive director of the Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Film Commission, will announce details of the project Thursday afternoon.
Estevez, son of Martin Sheen and brother of Charlie Sheen, will produce a “family-friendly sports film” in the area, officials said. The news release did not state if Estevez intends to produce, direct or act in the film.
Estevez was a member of the 1980s “Brat Pack.” He’s won several awards for his work on and off-screen.
Estevez has previously starred in the “Mighty Ducks” trilogy of sports films.
