So every weekday morning around 5:50 and 8:50 a.m., we’ll be saluting a soldier or someone else who has supported the troops (family members, friends, those who volunteer to help the troops, etc.). I’m a 10 year Marine Corps veteran and a combat veteran of Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. This salute is not about me, it’s about the Marines I had the honor of serving along side during the most difficult times of my life. In the face of danger, without a doubt they had my back when it meant putting there own lives on the line. After our days in the Corps, they are still my closest friends.
