1D impress Bieber

One Direction

One Direction have received congratulations from Justin Bieber.

The British boy band’s third album, Midnight Memories, was originally due for release later this month, but leaked on iTunes by mistake yesterday.

Despite the disappointing error, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne were cheered up by their 19-year-old pop pal Justin.

“that new 1d song diana is well written well done boyzzzzzz (sic),” he applauded the lads on Twitter.

The kind message was instantly re-tweeted by 20-year-old Niall.

One Direction have also been promoting their book Where We Are, which documents how far they’ve come since appearing on The X Factor UK in 2010.

Although they’ve got plenty of things to keep them occupied, the band are still disappointed about the leaked album.

“It is annoying because there’s this big build-up and it affects sales,” sighed Liam to Digital Spy.

“We really want a number one, so we’re just kind of hoping for the best now. Hopefully people go out and buy it.”

Louis added: “It’s just frustrating when you work so hard on an album and you kind of want everyone to hear it at the same time.

“Some select fans won’t listen to it until it’s out, which is great. But there are others who obviously can’t help themselves.”

Eager Directioners have been awaiting the third offering from the boys for some time.

Harry, 19, can understand why some had to give the disc a quick listen ahead of time.

“It’s just nice to have an impact. If there was an album I liked and I could listen to it a week before, I probably would,” the curly-haired heartthrob admitted.

“It’s just nice to have that moment where it builds up to, ‘Now it’s out and everyone can listen to it’.”

Liam agreed: “It happens these days all the time. There are some very clever people out there. You’re b****rs!”
